Purpose: Identifies opportunities for educational activities with a focus on trainee/junior faculty learning tools and career development.
Tasks:
- Oversee the ASCPT Mentoring Program and assist ASCPT staff with matching mentors and mentees
- Oversee development and coordination of trainee programming at the Annual Meeting, as well as other special programs that might need such attention
- Update the catalog of teaching aids and clinical pharmacology problem sets
- Evaluate the Society’s overall educational offerings to determine whether they are best meeting ASCPT’s long-term educational needs
Time commitment: 3 hours in meetings; 5-10 hours outside of meetings.
Requires a significant amount of work via email.
Typical schedule: 2 conference calls (July, October)
