David Lee Named 2010 ASCPT Young Investigator
David Lee, PharmD, PhD, has been named the recipient 2010 ASCPT Young Investigator Award. Dr. Lee is a Postdoctoral Fellow, Geriatric Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Related Research at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Lee received his PharmD, PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Lee's proposal, entitled, "Development of Risk Prediction Models in Older Adults on Antihypertensive Medications for Cardiovascular and Falls Outcomes," was selected by a committee of ASCPT members as the top proposal submitted for the Young Investigator Award. Dr. Lee's strong proposal, extensive training and substantial contributions to the field of clinical pharmacology pertaining to the aging population were cited by the reviewers. Dr. Lee will be recognized by the Society at the 2011 ASCPT Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas.
