Membership Frequently Asked Questions

I am a current ASCPT member, but it’s my first time accessing to the new website. What do I do?
Go to the Account Activation page, and enter your member number, first name and last name. You will then be prompted to create a user name and password. If you have previously completed this step, you can also search for an existing account using your email address.

I am trying to log in but I do not remember my log in and password. What do I do?
Please use the Forgot Password link in the ASCPT Sign In box on the top right of the website. It will prompt you to enter your user name or email address and an email will be sent to the primary email address on file with your user name and password. You must have activated your account for this to work.

If it is your first time logging into ascpt.org, please see above or contact Member Services if you need further assistance.

How do I pay my dues? 
Log in as a member and click on Renew Membership (on the left side of the screen).
Review your information, select Networks and Communities and any professional affiliations.
Click Submit and Pay.
Review your total and click Proceed to Check Out.
Enter your credit card information and click Submit

Members who wish to change the method of payment after it has been processed will be charged a $50 USD processing fee to update the credit card.

Applicants must pay their ASCPT dues prior to registering for the Annual Meeting or will be subject to a $50 USD processing fee to update their registration status.

Does ASCPT offer multi-year memberships?
ASCPT offers a discounted 2-year membership for full members. There are no multi-year membership options for Trainee/Student or Early Career Members at this time.


How do I get a receipt?
When you pay your dues online, your receipt will appear as a confirmation page. You may print this page or you will also receive a receipt by email. If you need another copy or did not receive a confirmation receipt, please contact Member Services at members@ascpt.org or +1-703-836-6981 ext.112 or 102.

How do I update my address information? 

Log in to ascpt.org and click on the Profile link in the member dialogue box in the upper right side if the screen.
Use the appropriate tabs to update your contact information, demographics, Network/Community affiliations, etc.
Send an email with requested updates at any time to members@ascpt.org


My membership lapsed a few years ago. How do I re-activate my membership?

Log in to the ASCPT website and renew online at any time.  If you need assistance with your membership, please contact Member Services at members@ascpt.org or +1-703-836-6981 ext 112 or 102.

How do I apply for ASCPT membership?
Apply for membership by filling out the online application or using our fillable application and e-mailing or faxing it to ASCPT.  To join online, you will need to activate or create your account on ascpt.org.


I do not live in the United States. Can I still become a member of ASCPT?
Nearly one-quarter of ASCPT's members live and work outside the United States. ASCPT welcomes all individuals with an interest in clinical pharmacology and translational medicine.  Please note that all payments to ASCPT must be made in U.S. Dollars. Wire payments are not accepted at this time.


How long does it take to process my membership application?
All paid applicants are instantly approved, however, membership applications are subject to review and decline.  A complete Curriculum Vitae (CV) may be requested if there are questions regarding membership eligibility.


I’ve graduated or completed my fellowship program. How do I upgrade my membership to Early Career or Full membership?
Upgrade your membership by contacting members@ascpt.org to request your upgrade option or submit payment and a renewal form to Member Services at members@ascpt.org.


I am missing issues of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. What do I do?

Please contact Member Services at members@ascpt.org or +1-703-836-6981 ext. 112 or 102 to confirm your address and troubleshoot CPT delivery issues. All members may read the current issue of CPT, plus over 30 years of archived issues, online, by following the "CPT" tab at the top of this webpage.

How can I find contact information for a member of ASCPT? 
Members have access to the online member directory. You can search by name, organization, location, email or Network/Community affiliation. Click on the magnifying glass icon to expand a member’s information.


What is a Dual ISoP Membership?
Both the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (ASCPT) and the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP) believe that joint membership in our respective organizations will benefit our members while receiving a savings of $45 on the total cost of their dues. Members can join both organizations with a single membership fee and receive a number of educational and networking benefits from both, including a subscription to Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, the Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics and reduced registration fees for their annual meetings.
