Biomarkers and Imaging (BIO) Scientific Section

The BIO Section is focused on the use of molecules (small or complex) and functional radiographic studies to provide quantitative pharmacodynamic outcome data. These tools are most commonly used to explore and refine our understanding of exposure-response relationships for both efficacy and toxicity, especially in drug development, to improve decision making among potential drug candidates, to explore dosing regimens, and to richly inform future clinical study design.
