American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Continuing Medical Education
Since its founding in 1900, providing continuing education for physicians has been a major objective of The American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT). The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) is the accrediting body for continuing medical education (CME). The American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASCPT completed a self-study and site visit for CME in 2004 and received accreditation by ACCME in November 2004 for a period of four (4) years.
Kathleen Neville, MD is the current Vice-Chair of ASCPT's Education Committee responsible for the Society's continuing medical education programs.
