ASCPT Member of the Month
ASCPT is proud to recognize Joann Data MD, PhD as Member of the Month for February. Dr. Data earned this recognition through her service and dedication to ASCPT. She is a valued member of ASCPT and we thank her for all she does for ASCPT. When asked why she supports ASCPT, Dr. Data commented, "ASCPT is a very important organization to the discipline of Clinical Pharmacology and one that I have actively participated in for more than 20 years. With its annual scientific meeting, the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and its many talented members and staff, I have continued to be impressed by the multiple ways Clinical Pharmacology impacts science and the practice of medicine and pharmacy, influences the drug development and approval process on a global scale and has an important voice in health policy. This Society has done more to enhance my continuing education than any other single entity. It has done so much for me personally and provided me many valuable tools and contacts to do my daily job that I want to make sure that others in the future will be able to continue to benefit from its merits." "Thus, as my husband and I review our gifting each year, and in the past when I was able to access corporate support as well, I make sure that ASCPT is on the list of recipients. ASCPT impact can be made greater with additional funds and I wish to provide a token to that needed support." Thank you Dr. Data!
