ASCPT is proud to recognize Dr. Ray Hohl as the November Member of the Month. Dr. Hohl earned this recognition because of dedication to ASCPT. Dr. Hohl serves on the Board of Directors, and also holds the position of Vice Chair on the Scientific Program Committee. Dr. Hohl has been a member of ASCPT for almost 15 years. Dr. Hohl is a well-respected member of ASCPT and we would like to thank him for all his hard work and enthusiasm.
When asked why he supports ASCPT, Dr. Hohl states "As a clinical pharmacologist working in an academic environment, I continue to be impressed by the need for strong interactions between academic, industry, and regulatory practitioners. These interactions are both encouraged and nurtured by ASCPT. I have been very impressed by the evolution of the society to define and firmly embrace the discovery, development, regulation, and utilization paradigm that encompasses the whole of clinical pharmacology. At the end of the day we are all focused on the same goal to improve human health through application of pharmacological principles. ASCPT is one of the best professional organizations I have seen that helps amalgamate multiple specialty disciplines towards meeting this goal. It provides a unifying platform to bring together many diverse medical specialties. This meeting of the disciplines clearly more rapidly advances application of pharmacological interventions."
Thank you Dr. Hohl.
