Introducing the ASCPT Member of the Month - a new forum to recognize and thank a member of ASCPT who has supported the Society's endeavors. Every month ASCPT will highlight ONE member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty! We hope you enjoy learning about your fellow members and always encourage your participation in Society events and activities.
ASCPT recognizes Dr. Noonan as the December Member of the Month for his commitment to ASCPT and his hard work as Chair of the Committee on Coordination of Scientific Sections. Dr. Noonan's devotion and leadership are an asset to the Society and his efforts guiding the Scientific Sections is truly appreciated.
Dr. Noonan provided the following insight as to why he supports ASCPT:
"As an ASCPT member since 1983, the Society has offered me the opportunity to network with and learn from other members who were and still are the leaders in clinical pharmacology. Our Annual Meetings provide us with results from the latest research and a chance to stay current in areas where information seems to be growing exponentially. As members, we also have access to an invaluable resource: CP&T. ASCPT also provides me with the opportunity to give back to the field that has taught me so much. There are many opportunities to serve on committees that are necessary to help ASCPT grow in order to better serve our members. I support ASCPT because I believe that it is necessary for us to work together and pool resources so that Clinical Pharmacologists can have a larger impact on drug development, regulation and education."
