ASCPT Member of the Month
Introducing the ASCPT Member of the Month - a new forum to recognize and thank a member of ASCPT who has supported the Society's endeavors. Every month ASCPT will highlight ONE member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty! We hope you enjoy learning about your fellow members and always encourage your participation in Society events and activities.
ASCPT recognizes Dr. Uhl as the March Member of the Month for her strong support of ASCPT. Dr. Uhl's devotion and leadership are an asset to the Society and her efforts are truly appreciated.
Dr. Uhl provided the following insight as to why she supports ASCPT:
"Through ASCPT I have come to appreciate the diversity of the discipline of clinical pharmacology and its role in areas important to me, such as medical education, women’s health, and public health. My involvement in ASCPT has provided me with the opportunity to meet and work with some of the leaders in clinical pharmacology. The dedicated staff at ASCPT makes this a wonderful organization to be a part of and to volunteer in. ASCPT is a collegial organization that fosters growth and development in junior clinical pharmacologists, recognizing their potential for the future of ASCPT. ASCPT is a place where key stakeholders of drug development — industry, academia, and regulatory — can work together toward a common goal. ASCPT provides an important venue to stay attuned to the evolving face of drug development."
