ASCPT Member of the Month

Member of the Month: Dr. Richard Weinshilboum

The ASCPT Member of the Month — a forum to recognize and thank a member of ASCPT who has supported the Society's endeavors. Each month ASCPT highlights ONE member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty! We hope you enjoy learning about your fellow members and always encourage your participation in Society events and activities.

ASCPT is pleased to recognize Dr. Richard Weinshilboum as the September/October Member of the Month. Dr. Weinshilboum earned this recognition because of his strong support of ASCPT in various leadership roles, most recently as Chair of the Editorial Search Committee. Dr. Weinshilboum's wisdom and willingness to step in and provide assistance whenever called upon is truly an asset to ASCPT.

When asked why he supports ASCPT, Dr. Weinshilboum states "ASCPT has been an 'intellectual home' throughout my career. There is nowhere else where academic, pharmaceutical and regulatory Clinical Pharmacology come together in such a scholarly and collegial atmosphere".
