Kris Jamsen, PhD, Biostatistician/Pharmacometrician, Certara, Aroona, Australia

Dr. Jamsen joined ASCPT to expand his professional network. He learned about ASCPT through his colleagues who are involved with the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP). He hopes to meet more professionals within the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics communities, especially in the United States. He believes that this will be beneficial for future collaborations. Dr. Jamsen is a biostatistician and pharmacometrician. In both of those roles, he is intrigued how clinical pharmacology can inform and provide important insights to statistical modeling and applications. His work has an impact on patient care in that the modeling and simulation work he does can play a key role in decisions related to dosing. His most recent work has been published in CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology — A Regression Approach to Visual Predictive Checks for Population Pharmacometric Models*.
