Call for Papers: Therapeutic Innovations Oncology

Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT), the flagship journal of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (ASCPT) and the premier publication in clinical pharmacology, is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on “Therapeutic Innovations in Oncology”, which is scheduled for publication in September 2020.

The Editors for this themed issue are Sarah Holstein, MD, PhD, and Karthik Venkatakrishnan, PhD. The issue will focus on the latest innovations in the discovery, development, and clinical use of cancer therapeutics. It will be a unique publication that brings together oncologists, clinical pharmacologists, drug developers, cancer researchers, and regulators.

Examples of topics that are in scope are immuno-oncology (small molecules, antibody-based approaches, vaccines, cellular therapies as well as studies incorporating immune profiling as correlatives), translational oncology models (in silico and experimental), dose and dosing schedule optimization, rational design of combination therapies, tissue-agnostic precision therapeutics, biomarker discovery, radiomics, minimal residual disease, surrogate endpoints, novel disease models, companion diagnostics, pediatric oncology drug development, real world evidence, reviews of recent oncology drug approvals, and novel oncology data science (including artificial intelligence and machine learning).

Submissions may be original research articles, (mini) reviews, White Papers or shorter perspectives. Educational, tutorial-style papers will also be considered. Please contact cpteditor@ascpt.org for details about manuscript types and format requirements.
