In consideration of our members who may be impacted by Hurricane Dorian, the deadline to submit an abstract for the ASCPT 2020 Annual Meeting has been extended to Thursday, September 12, 2019, 4:00 PM ET.

Ready to submit? View the criteria for consideration, then submit your abstract for consideration.

Note that you must be logged into your members account on www.ascpt.org to access the Webinar Library.

If your research falls within infectious disease, consider indicating interest in being considered for presentation at the 2020 Pre-Conference Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Advances in Anti-Infective Development, chaired by Matthew Rizk, PhD, Merck, and Melanie Nicol, PharmD, PhD, University of Minnesota, in addition to presentation at the full ASCPT conference. Please note that if you indicate interest in presenting at the Infectious Disease Pre-Conference if accepted, you agree to register for and present your poster at the Pre-Conference.

Questions about abstract submission and the 2020 Infectious Disease Pre-Conference may directed to meetings@ascpt.org or (703) 836-6981 ext. 108 or 109.

Participate in the Member-Get-A-Member Campaign
Read what last year’s Member-Get-a-Member Campaign Winner, Elvin T. Price, PharmD, PhD, has to say about the value of his membership and why he chose to spread the word about ASCPT.

“I invited my colleagues to join ASCPT as it is a diverse Society that convenes experts from various scientific specialty areas.  As a faculty member that works within a transdisciplinary research team, I recognized that ASCPT is a Society that could speak to the areas of expertise from our various members.  Specifically, our team is comprised of clinical pharmacologists, pharmacogeneticists, bioinformaticians, nurses, graduate students and undergraduate students.  Therefore, ASCPT was a logical choice of membership for our transdisciplinary team.”

Encourage at least five of your friends and colleagues to join the Society by year end. If they become new members and use your name as the referrer, you may be eligible to receive a complimentary registration to the ASCPT Annual Meeting!

Submit your membership referrals now or learn more about ASCPT’s Member-Get-A-Member Campaign.

Two New Journal Family Blog Posts Available
The ASCPT Journal Family has two new blog posts available.

PSPost also has a new post to offer, written by associate editor Eric Sobie, PhD, where he discussed the recent paper in CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology by Helen Moore that describes a flurry of activity by the ISoP Mathematical and Computational Science Special Interest Group group, all aimed towards the overarching goal of promoting the use of advanced mathematical approaches in drug development.
