The December Issue of Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics is Available
The last issue of Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT) to publish under the leadership of Scott A. Waldman, MD, PhD, is now available.

The December issue of CPT is now online. Edited by Jeannine S. McCune, PharmD, and guest editors Teodora Pene Dumitrescu, PhD, and Virginia Schmith, PhD, the issue theme is “Placebo Response,” and seeks to improve our understanding of the placebo response and to develop new strategies to minimize its impact within clinical trials.  The December issue is the final issue published under the editorship of Scott A. Waldman, MD, PhD, and his team of dedicated Associate Editors. For the past 12 years, Scott and his team have been exemplary stewards of ASCPT’s flagship journal, guiding not only the journal, but the science and discipline of the field. We thank them for their commitment and excellence.

Support Student and Trainee Travel to ASCPT 2020
Thank you to all of our members who contributed to the Student/Trainee Awards and Travel Grants on Tuesday as part of Giving Tuesday.  While we are pleased to have surpassed our $5,000 Giving Tuesday goal, our overall goal is to raise $20,000 to support the travel of students and trainees to the 2020 Annual Meeting! If you haven't already donated, it isn't too late to give your support as part of your year-end giving.

Join with ASCPT and send a student/trainee to the 2020 Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas.  Your tax-deductible gift will help us support travel grants for students and trainees presenting a poster at the March 18-21, 2020, Annual Meeting.  Contribute today and make a difference. Visit https://www.ascpt.org/Resources/Donations to donate!

Your contribution to students and trainees supports young members at an important juncture in their professional lives.  Presenting posters and abstracts at the Annual Meeting in front of peers, employers and potential research partners can be a springboard for ongoing success.  Please give a gift today and help us better serve these young scientists.
