“Therapeutic Innovations in Neuroscience” themed issue
CALL FOR PAPERS
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (
CPT), the flagship journal of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (ASCPT) and the premier publication in clinical pharmacology, is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on “Therapeutic Innovations in Neuroscience,” which is scheduled for publication in April of 2022.
The Therapeutic Innovations in Neuroscience themed issue will focus on various facets of the ever-evolving discipline of neuroscience, from translational research to clinical studies, prevention and treatment strategies of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Example topics that are in scope include, but are not limited to: Innovative designs and endpoints for clinical neuroscience trials; studies leveraging real-world data and/or integrating patient/family perspectives; novel therapeutic strategies, including gene therapy, and regulatory considerations; emerging research fields in which neuroscience synergizes with further disciplines to advance drug development or treatment, e.g. neuroinflammation or gut microbiome in neurological disorders; and innovative data science approaches. Publications focusing on rare neurological diseases and understudied populations (minority populations, pediatric/adolescent/geriatric patients, etc.) are encouraged.
Submissions of original research are particularly encouraged, however other article types will also be considered.
Please contact
cpteditor@ascpt.org for details about manuscript types and format requirements.
