Mental illness and addiction affect at least 1 in 5 adults in the US and represent a substantial burden to individuals and their family as well as to society. The goal of this Community is to increase awareness in topics relevant to the pharmacological treatment of mental health and addiction, increase diversity in the society by attracting new members, and inspire our current members to think more critically about developing research towards understanding the etiology, targeting novel therapeutic approaches, and personalized therapy for these debilitating illnesses.
