Upcoming Themed Issues:

CPT: January 2022
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT), is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on “Real World Evidence,” which is scheduled for publication in January of 2022. The issue will focus on the evolving field field and increasing importance of RWE in the discovery, development, surveillance and regulation of medical products. Of particular interest will be original research papers employing novel study and statistical methods, use of RWE to augment/complement evidence from randomized controlled trials, and the role of RWE in support of regulatory and payer decision-making. PSP: March 2022
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics: Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology (PSP), is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on "Quantitative Approaches to Drug Safety,” which is scheduled for publication in March 2022. Original research articles are encouraged, but submissions may include reviews, position/white papers, or shorter perspectives. Educational, tutorial-style papers are also encouraged. CPT: April 2022
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT), is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on “Therapeutic Innovations in Neuroscience,” which is scheduled for publication in April of 2022. The issue will focus on various facets of the ever-evolving discipline of neuroscience, from translational research to clinical studies, prevention and treatment strategies of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Example topics that are in scope include, but are not limited to: Innovative designs and endpoints for clinical neuroscience trials; studies leveraging real-world data and/or integrating patient/family perspectives; novel therapeutic strategies, including gene therapy, and regulatory considerations; emerging research fields in which neuroscience synergizes with further disciplines to advance drug development or treatment, e.g. neuroinflammation or gut microbiome in neurological disorders; and innovative data science approaches. Publications focusing on rare neurological diseases and understudied populations (minority populations, pediatric/adolescent/geriatric patients, etc.) are encouraged.
