How Do You Keep Focused and Motivated?
Working with a very talented and diverse group of people in my lab and with excellent mentors and collaborators. There is no way to lose motivation when you can discuss so many interesting ideas and pieces of data with them.
What’s One Thing People Would be Surprised to Know About You?
That I completed two half-marathons—kudos to the best personal trainer ever.
What is the Most Important Leadership Lesson You Have Learned the Hard Way?
Not necessarily the hard way, but I would say that leadership matters and that good leaders listen and work for their group rather than for themselves.
