What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of receiving the CERSI-UCSF-Genentech fellowship. This is because I have always wanted to expand my modeling and simulation toolkit. During the fellowship, I have gained more experience in clinical pharmacology studies. The fellowship has been an incredible opportunity for me to grow as a scientist.

Who has inspired you in your career?
I have been fortunate to have had many supportive mentors during my scientific journey. Of course, my mentors at the University of California San Francisco and Genentech have inspired me, been instrumental in my career, and are role models that I strive to emulate. In addition, I also find inspiration from figures in the field of finance. I admire Jack Bogle and Eugene Ama because of how they revolutionized finance and changed the world we live in.

When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
When I am not working, I really enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I love playing board games, especially Machi Koro and Valeria. These are dice-throwing games, and I enjoy developing strategies to optimize win rates.

What was your childhood dream job?
When I was a kid, I played a lot of sport video games. At the time, I was really interested in becoming a general manager for a professional baseball team. I wanted to apply the latest baseball analytics to build a winning team.
