Contribute and Get More from Your 2024 Annual Meeting Experience
Are you planning on attending the 2024 Annual Meeting March 26-29 and want to know how to get more from your experience? Contribute your latest research as an abstract for presentation and plan now to join us for one of two special Pre-Conference programs being planned!
Is your latest research ready to be presented to an audience of expert and up-and-coming clinical pharmacologists and translational scientists? Just one week remains to submit your abstract for presentation next March. Review the full
Abstract Submission Guidelines to learn more about the submission criteria. The deadline to submit your abstract is
September 14, 2023, 4:00 PM ET. Contact meetings@ascpt.org with questions.
ASCPT is also pleased to announce that we will host two Pre-Conference events in 2024!
Workshop on Application of Clinical Pharmacology Concepts to Enhance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Global Clinical Trials will be chaired by Aarti Sawant, PhD, AstraZeneca and Rashmi Mehta, PhD, GlaxoSmithKline, and will provide an overview of ongoing efforts to utilize clinical pharmacology tools to implement the guidance on diversity plans targeted at improving participation of under-represented populations in clinical trials. The program will offer an interactive experience that aims to advance knowledge on enhanced diversity in clinical trials and will include the presentation of case studies where clinical pharmacology concepts enhance understanding of disposition of molecules, risk assessments using modeling and simulation, well-designed clinical trials, and technologies to enable DCTs resulting in increased enrollment in subsequent trials, and extrapolation/bridging from Phase III outcomes to those populations under-represented in pivotal studies.
Empowering Clinical Pharmacologists and Translational Scientists Using Artificial Intelligence: Unlocking Potential with Cutting-Edge Use Cases will be chaired by Mohamed Shahin, PHD, Pfizer, James Lu, PhD, Genentech, and C.J. Musante, PhD, Pfizer, and is a collaboration between the Translational Informatics Community and the Quantitative Pharmacology Network at ASCPT, the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP), and the IQ Consortium AI/ML Working Group. Attendees will gain insight into the various AI-driven applications in drug development, dosing optimization, translational science, biomarker discovery, and disease modeling.
