CALL FOR PAPERS

Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (CPT) is seeking submissions for its upcoming special themed issue on "The Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics," scheduled for publication in April 2024.

In this issue, we aim to delve into the latest and most innovative advancements in the use of AI/ML within the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. The integration of these technologies has the potential to transform medical research and healthcare, with significant implications for the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. From drug discovery and development to regulation, AI/ML can streamline and enhance traditional processes, leading to more efficient and effective results. Additionally, by utilizing the power of AI/ML, healthcare providers can improve patient outcomes and experiences through personalized treatment plans and real-time monitoring of patients’ health status. This issue will explore the cutting-edge advancements in the application of AI/ML in the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics by showcasing examples where we have seen impact to clinical pharmacology practice and drug development. We welcome submissions on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
  • Application of AI/ML in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics
  • Development of AI/ML tools for drug discovery and development
  • Integrating AI/ML in clinical trial design and analysis
  • Utilizing AI/ML for personalized medicine 
  • The use of AI/ML in pharmacovigilance and post-marketing surveillance
  • Regulatory considerations for AI/ML in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics
  • Ethical considerations for AI/ML in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics
  • Future directions for AI/ML in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics
Submissions of original research are particularly encouraged, but reviews, position/white papers, shorter perspectives, or educational, tutorial-style papers are also welcome.
