If you have research that wasn’t finalized by the September 19, 2024, abstract submission deadline, the call for Late-Breaking submissions is coming soon!

  • Address a clinical, translational, or methodology-based question.
  • Apply to clinical pharmacology.
  • Describe original, previously unpublished work at the time of presentation.
  • Identify the primary ASCPT Community related to the content of the abstract.
  • Obtain management approval prior to submitting the abstract if management approval is required from your institution.
Accepted Late-Breaking abstracts will be presented during the 2025 Annual Meeting, May 28-30, in Washington, DC. Watch for the official opening of the Late-Breaking abstract submission site coming soon. The deadline to submit is November 21, 2024, 4:00 PM ET.

Clinical and Translational Science Seeks Mechanism-of-Action Submissions
The world of biopharmaceuticals is ever-evolving, with groundbreaking therapeutics constantly being developed to combat a myriad of diseases. Understanding how these therapeutics work, their pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics is crucial not just for healthcare professionals but for anyone with an interest in clinical and translational science. Clinical and Translational Science’s “Mechanism of Action Mini Reviews” demystify these complex agents and modalities, from mechanism to development and regulatory journey to clinical impact.

The collection currently spotlights around a dozen drugs – do you have a therapeutic that deserves to be included? We welcome the submission and can’t wait to hear about the characteristics that make the drug an important part of a clinician’s treatment arsenal.

Details about the organization of this article type are available here. All published Mechanism of Action papers are here.
