What is your favorite Society memory?
My favorite Society memory is my first webinar: “Application of Machine Learning in Drug Development Part 1.” I was a speaker in this webinar in September 2018. That was the same year that I received the ASCPT Presidential Trainee Award at the Annual Meeting.
How do you keep focused and motivated?
I enjoy working on tough problems with real-world impact. My work captures real-world clinical outcome data and builds analytic models to advance drug repurposing and informs future clinical trials for diseases of high unmet medical need.
When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
I love the outdoors, outside of work you will find me hiking, biking, climbing, or traveling.
What are you looking forward to as a new Vice Chair of the Translational Informatics (TI) Community?
I am looking forward to leading some of the Translational Informatics (TI) Community's initiatives in engaging the community member and more broadly the ASCPT community.
Jagdeep has been a member of ASCPT since 2017. In addition to serving on the TI Community, he has served as journal reviewer for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics
