What excites you about serving in your role as the Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling and Simulation (PBPK) Community Vice Chair?
It is my hope that we can create a meeting place for the community for interactions, learning, advancing science and applications.
What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
The EU Clinical Pharmacology reviewer work, pushing regulatory science ahead by drafting guidelines in Pediatrics, pharmacogenetic (PGx), drug-drug interaction (DDI), and PBPK, and also the work with the Pediatric Regulation.
Do you have a favorite tip or trick for clinical practice or research that you want to share with fellow members?
Have fun! That is the most important thing. It allows you to stay curious checking that next paper. In addition, engage in international discussions in your favorite areas. You make new friends and can contribute together.
When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
I love gardening and nature, do lots of dancing, and yin yoga/meditation.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I love speed! I had a motorbike and used to drive a snowmobile in the Swedish Alps.
