What is your favorite part of being a Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Editor-in-Training?
My favorite part of being a CTS editor-in-training is that I get to interact with a broad scope of professionals across disciplines, to promote the awareness and to further engage potential readership of the journal. I have learned so much about what really goes on behind the scenes.
Do you have a favorite tip or trick for clinical practice or research that you want to share with fellow members?
I would not classify this as a trick, but every time I am near going down a rabbit hole of “truth finding”, I will always remind myself to step back and look at the bigger picture. It helps to prioritize and deliver the actionable results with justification.
When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
I serve as the personal assistant and chauffeur for my Siberian husky, so much of my time is spent going out and about with her, while keeping her from escaping.
What was your childhood dream job?
My very first dream was to drive an ice cream truck. I enjoy bringing joy to people.
Dr. Zhu has been a member of ASCPT since 2024.
