What does being a Life Cycle Management (LCM) Community Vice Chair mean to you?
It means that I have the great opportunity to enhance the Community’s impact and to more closely connect with the LCM Community and the broader ASCPT community. I feel honored to serve in this position.
Who has inspired you in your career?
I am grateful for the wonderful mentorship I have received throughout my career, especially from my PhD mentors, Drs. Markos Leggas and Chee Ng. Their passion for research was truly inspiring, and their guidance taught me the importance of rigorous work and a commitment to meaningfully impacting patient outcomes.
How do you keep focused and motivated?
What keeps me focused and motivated is seeing the scientific community’s progress over the years and the impact our work has on patient care.
When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, and I enjoy seeing the world through a new lens with my young daughter.
Dr Tang has been a member of ASCPT since 2018.
