What does being a 2025 Presidential Trainee and the 2025 Jason Morrow Award Recipient mean to you?
It is such an honor to receive these awards from ASCPT. And it has been such a team effort to carry out many impactful projects. I hope that these awards will draw more attention to the ongoing efforts to understand biodistribution in the female reproductive tract to support future drug development within this space and improve women’s health.

What was your favorite part of attending the Annual Meeting?
It was my very first time at the ASCPT Annual Meeting. I was blown away by how well-organized the meeting was. It was very exciting to meet many people I have heard about within the field in person. As I am a part of the Student & Trainee Community Steering Committee, it was a special opportunity to connect with other trainees and ASCPT staff with whom I had previously only interacted via Zoom.

When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball with friends. It has been a great way to meet new people. I have also set a goal for myself to learn at least one to two new Vietnamese cooking recipes every month. I have also started exploring different breweries around Pittsburgh with friends.

What is the most important leadership lesson you have learned the hard way?
Definitely the ability to delegate tasks. At the end of the day, it is the team effort that helps you achieve the common goal. When the work is spread out, we can all achieve the common goal more effectively.

Dr Le has been a member of ASCPT since 2021.
