Present Your Research at the ASCPT 2019 Annual Meeting
The ASCPT Scientific Program Committee will soon be seeking abstract submissions with a focus on the areas of quantitative pharmacology, translational and precision medicine, development, regulatory and outcomes, and other topic areas that relate to the multi-disciplinary nature of the Annual Meeting. Follow ASCPT News and ASCPT social media to stay up-to-date on the submission site launch and deadlines.

Looking for another opportunity to showcase your research? Abstracts submitted for the full ASCPT meeting can also be considered for presentation at one of the two Pre-conferences to be held in 2019. As a reminder, our 2019 Pre-Conferences are:

Advancing QSP Toward Predictive Drug Development: From Targets to Treatments

PBPK Modeling for the Development and Approval of Locally Acting Products

If you plan to submit a QSP or PBPK abstract to ASCPT, consider telling us during the submission process that you would like it considered for a Pre-Conference as well.

Authors Beware
Not all journals are created equal. ASCPT Journal consultant Morna Conway, PhD, walks readers through the recent NIH statement meant to “protect the credibility of published research” and provides a convenient list of what to look for in a reputable journal. Don’t get caught unaware – read Beware Bad Journals today.

Call for Original Research
The ASCPT Journal Family welcomes original research submissions in a variety of article types: Article, Clinical Trial/Phase Forward, Database, and Brief Report. CTS is also pleased to consider original innovative research that disproves a hypothesis or produces negative results. Learn more about the scope of each journal by watching our webinar Where to Submit: The ASCPT Journal Family. Still unsure if your research is the right fit? Submit a presubmission inquiry to Managing Editor Emma Shumeyko at emma@ascpt.org.

Ditch Print
Did you know that as a member you can access all Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics content online or via the mobile app on your personal device? If you’re regularly accessing CPT online, consider opting out of receiving a print copy of the journal. You can update your preference by logging in to your member profile and selecting “CPT Print Opt-out” or simply email emma@ascpt.org. No changes will be made to your membership dues, but you’ll be making an impact for the environment!
