What does being an LMIC accelerator cohort member mean to you?
It is an honor! When I received the news that I had been selected to participate in the LMIC Accelerator Program, I was thrilled. I immediately recognized the amazing opportunities the program offers for personal and professional growth–networking to share experiences and exchange scientific knowledge, participating in webinars, and accessing scientific journals. I know this marked the beginning of an exciting journey. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity to translate it into our pediatric settings for pharmacotherapy.
What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of developing my PhD thesis in pediatric settings. Knowing that our work is making our best effort in improving children's health is the greatest motivation and reward I could ask for.
When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
I love walking around the city. Buenos Aires is a stunning place that surprises me every moment, no matter how well I think I know it. On weekends, I often travel to Rosario to reconnect with my family and friends. As a devoted Newell's Old Boys fan, going to the stadium for a soccer match is one of my favorite activities. When it comes to holidays, traveling is my go-to! Stepping away from daily routines, visiting new countries, and immersing myself in different cultures with no scheduled time are my ultimate ways to recharge.
Do you have a favorite tip or trick for clinical practice or research that you want to share with fellow members?
Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is a game-changer. Listening to diverse perspectives, sharing knowledge, learning from one another, and having fun with the team enrich the entire experience. These interactions have not only deepened my understanding and improved my research but have also created meaningful connections with incredible people along the way.
