What does being a 2025 Presidential Trainee mean to you?
Being named a 2025 Presidential Trainee is an incredible honor that reflects not only my efforts but also the invaluable support of my mentors and collaborators. It represents a milestone in my early career and reinforces my dedication to advancing drug development and improving patient outcomes.

What was your favorite part of attending the Annual Meeting?
My favorite part of attending the Annual Meeting was the opportunity to present my work and connect with fellow professionals in the field. I received valuable feedback that helped refine my research, and I also had the chance to engage in insightful discussions about the latest developments and trends in clinical pharmacology. These conversations were both inspiring and instrumental in shaping ideas for future work.

When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?
When I am not working, I enjoy baking—it is a creative and relaxing outlet that brings me a lot of joy, especially when I get to share what I have made with friends and family. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it is going for a walk or exploring new places. These activities help me recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

What was your childhood dream job?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a scientist who could discover new medicines to help people. That curiosity and desire to make a difference eventually led me to pharmacy and clinical pharmacology, where I now have the opportunity to contribute to drug development and patient care in meaningful ways.

Xiaoying has been a member of ASCPT since 2024.
