Current Fellowship Opportunities

Clinical Pharmacokinetics / Pharmacodynamics Fellowship
The University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy, in cooperation with GlaxoSmithKline and Quintiles, Inc, sponsors two-year Fellowships in clinical pharmacokinetics (PK) / pharmacodynamics (PD). Ideal candidates will have obtained a PharmD, PhD or MD. These Fellowships seek to provide experience in PK/PD data analysis and simulation and expertise in the proper conduct of clinical drug trials.

The Fellowships start July 1, 2008.

Drug Development Fellowship
The University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy, in cooperation with GlaxoSmithKline; PPD; United Therapeutics and King Pharmaceuticals sponsors two-year Fellowships in Drug Development. Ideal candidates will have obtained a PharmD, PhD or MD. Residency is not required but preferred. The Fellowship seeks to provide participation in original research projects in clinical pharmacology under the direction of a faculty member; in vitro and in vivo laboratory methods to evaluate drug absorption, disposition and pharmacodynamics; didactic instruction in courses that supplement training and personal interests. The Fellowships start July 1, 2008.
