2020 Annual Meeting Session Proposals are Due Today!
This is the final call for 2020 Annual Meeting session proposals. Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of the science agenda for our next conference.

Today, Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 4:00 PM EDT, is the deadline to submit a proposal for the ASCPT 2020 Annual Meeting! Review important submission details, including session types and the requirements for each, in the 2020 Call for Proposals Brochure, then submit your proposal for consideration.

ASCPT’s new proposal submission site, Cadmium’s Scorecard, provides a more streamline submission process that begins with creating a new user account. Ready to submit a proposal submission? Select "Join now" to create a New User account in the Cadmium site.  And don't forget, your proposal must be fully submitted by the deadline to be considered!

Questions about the ASCPT 2020 Annual Meeting or proposal submission can be sent to meetings@ascpt.org or 703-836-6981 ext. 108.

Register for the Next ASCPT Journal Review Club!
Clinical and Translational Science is excited to announce its next journal club and open registration to members in the first five years of their career who would like to learn more about peer review.

We are pleased to announce the next virtual Journal Review Club session will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 12:00 PM EDT. Geared towards members in the first few years of their career or who would like to learn more about peer review, this interactive session will include an engaged discussion on the recently published article Psychological and Genetic Predictors of Pain Tolerance. Take this opportunity to learn directly from author Jason H. Karnes, PharmD, PhD, about the impact and importance of peer-review.

Can you see what our reviewers saw? Participants will receive a copy of the article as it was submitted to the journal and will come to the session prepared with their own comments on the manuscript. The session will discuss potential issues discovered by the participants, examine how the authors addressed the reviewer comments, and answer questions you’ve been wondering about how peer review works from the Editor’s perspective.

Career Center
The ASCPT Career Center is the go-to site for recruitment!

The ASCPT Career Center is the best resource to recruit high-quality professionals in the clinical pharmacology and translational medicine fields. Posting your open positions on the ASCPT Career Center will ensure you’re receiving exposure to the right candidates.

Not only would posting your open jobs on the ASCPT Career Center get them in front of top professionals, but you could also see your posted jobs on Google for Jobs, Google’s most recent feature that places quality jobs from niche job boards on the first page of a user’s job search results! Google for Jobs prioritizes postings based on relevance, providing the ASCPT Career Center users more opportunity to have their postings rise to the top of search results as compared to postings on job aggregator sites. If pulled, this will give you the opportunity for added exposure and a greater visibility to potential candidates outside of the users on the career center. We have already seen an increase in traffic from Google!

Find your next great employee … get started today!
