Author: [AUTHOR] Published on 9/11/2020 9:34:00 AMWe are delighted to announce that CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology (PSP) has been accepted into Clarivate Analytics' SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) and will receive its first Impact Factor in June 2021! Since its inception in 2012, the PSP leadership has been working toward this goal of inclusion in this internationally recognized authority on journal prominence and quality.
This achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional work PSP's editorial team has put into making the journal the excellent representation of pharmacometrics and systems pharmacology research that it is. Led by France Mentré, MD, PhD, who was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the journal in 2019, this outstanding team of editors includes Lena Friberg, PhD, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and associate editors Jonathan French, SCD, Stephanie Hennig, PhD, Douglas Lauffenburger, PhD, Lang Li, PhD, Donald Mager, MD, PhD, Vikram Sinha, PhD, Eric Sobie, PhD, and Ping Zhao, PhD, as well as Editor-in-Training, Daniel Scholes Rosenbloom, PhD. We would also like to acknowledge and thank Piet van der Graaf, PhD, PharmD, for all of his contributions as PSP's inaugural Editor-in-Chief, as this is an achievement years in the making.
France says of achieving an Impact Factor, "I am so proud of the journal. This is a big milestone achieved and a new era for PSP!"
The official Impact Factor of PSP will be announced in June 2021, and the journal looks forward to welcoming an increased number of submissions within pharmacometrics and systems pharmacology and continuing to be a venue for the critical review, appraisal, and publication of the very best research in these important fields.
Please join us in congratulating the PSP editorial team for this outstanding achievement.
