CALL FOR PAPERS
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics: Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology (
PSP), an official journal of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (ASCPT), is inviting submissions for a special themed issue on “Dose Optimization in Oncology,” scheduled for publication in 2023 Q4.
The Dose Optimization in Oncology themed issue will focus on topics that highlight recent advances in:
- quantitative systems pharmacology modeling
- Exposure-Response modeling of early clinical activity
- safety modeling
- biomarker, PK, PD, and quality of life data
- disease progression modeling
- reverse translational modeling
- model-based meta-analyses
- new approaches to clinical trial designs (e.g., adaptive designs,) simulation studies, and a variety of analytical approaches (e.g., Bayesian approaches to pharmacologically based models
The objective of the issue is to illustrate the role of
PSP in facilitating efficient dose optimization in oncology.
Case studies highlighting a variety of approaches to different therapeutic modalities (e.g., immuno, targeted cell-based, combination) within oncology will be of interest to systems pharmacologists, statisticians, and pharmacometricians who are building models and devising efficient trial designs to support decision making in oncology drug development and individual patient care. Articles illustrating learnings from other therapeutic areas that would be relevant to constraints in Oncology drug development are also of interest.
Original research articles are encouraged, but submissions may include reviews, position/white papers or shorter regulatory, academic, society and industry perspectives.
Educational, tutorial-style papers will also be considered. Please contact
alethea@ascpt.org for details about manuscript types and format requirements.
To be considered for publication in this high-profile themed issue, manuscripts should be submitted via the online submission and tracking system by
May 12, 2023.
