Featured Speakers Announced for ASCPT 2020
Join us for the ASCPT 2020 Annual Meeting where Steven Ryder, MD, and CJ Musante, PhD, will deliver the Featured Speaker lectures.

ASCPT is pleased to announce that Steven Ryder, MD, Rallybio, and CJ Musante, PhD, Pfizer, will deliver the 2020 Annual Meeting Featured Speaker lectures. Featured Speaker lectures fall among the top science presented at the Annual Meeting and are considered not-to-be-missed sessions. Registration for the 2020 Annual Meeting, to be held March 18-20, is now open. View the Preliminary Program online, then click here to secure your registration. Early Bird registration rates are in effect and will be available through December 12, 2019.

Member-Get-A-Member Campaign Underway
ASCPT is asking you to talk about your membership experience and help recruit colleagues who could benefit from involvement in the Society! 

The 2020 Member-Get-A-Member Campaign is your chance to refer new members and be eligible to win the coveted ASCPT Advocate Prize that will be awarded to the member who refers the most new members. 

Encourage your friends and colleagues to join ASCPT now through December 31, 2019. If they use your name as their referral, you may be eligible to receive a complimentary ASCPT 2020 Annual Meeting registration.

Participants must refer at least 5 new members to be eligible. Any tie will be decided by random draw.

The ASCPT Journal Family has New Content and an Exciting Volunteer Opportunity!
The ASCPT Journal Family has new issues and a new call for Editor-in-Training applications.

The September issue of Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) and the October issue of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (CPT) are now available online. Read the latest content by clicking here. CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology (PSP) is looking for an Editor-in-Training to join those already appointed for CTS and CPT. This is a one-year volunteer opportunity for an early career scientist to learn the editorial process for a peer-reviewed journal, and assist with social media and engagement efforts on behalf of PSP. Applications are due by COB, Monday, November 4, 2019.

2020 Call for Sternfels Prize is Now Open!
Submissions for the 2020 Sternfels Prize are now being accepted. The 2020 Sternfels Prize will recognize research to reduce the risks associated with the real-world use of pharmaceuticals and will be awarded to the most novel, clinically relevant, and testable idea.

The Sternfels Prize was created to reduce the risk associated with the real-world use of pharmaceuticals. The purpose of the prize is to incentivize pharmacologists, pharmacists, medical practitioners, academics, and students to think about ways to reduce the real world risks patients face from polypharmacy, interacting co-morbidities, and genetic variations.
